Mission Statement

The Youth Advocacy Committee is a group of high school interns and

volunteers in Marin County that work to stimulate positive community

change by promoting awareness, education, and legislative action

regarding substance use and misuse.

This summer, a fantastic group of YAC volunteers put together a webinar centered around athletics and tobacco. We had 4 wonderful speakers and learned so much! A recording of the webinar will be available on our website soon! We will keep you posted
This month, YAC volunteers have been surveying local stores to assess signage in the retail environment. Have you seen these kinds of signs in your community? How does the retail environment impact the sale of tobacco? Big questions! 🚭💵🤔
